Frequently Asked Questions

All SLATE SWIM pieces are made in sizes XS - XL. This size chart gives you a general guideline for all of our swimwear. Please refer to the chart but let us know if we can help you further via email!

Our signature SLATE SWIM classic fabric is made of a luxe, nylon spandex blend. We source only the highest quality materials to create our buttery-soft, second skin fabric. This fabric was created with you in mind as it hugs your curves, keeping you comfortable and confident. It also has high-elasticity, being ultra stretchy yet springs back in place, never stretching out. 

SLATE pieces are created with our classic, high quality fabric and are made to last you season after season. In order to preserve its' quality and properly care for you new suits, please follow these steps:

- Hand wash cold with mild soap and rinse

- Lay flat or hang to dry in shade

- Do not tumble dry, dry clean, iron/steam or bleach

- Do not wring out when wet

- Do not leave in sun

- Stay away from rough surfaces to avoid abrasion and pilling/pulls

- Avoid chlorine as this can cause discoloration

- Avoid direct contact with oils and sunscreens as this can cause staining

To keep your bikinis in their best shape, we suggest rinsing after use - especially if there is sand in your suit!

If your favorite style is sold out, sign up for the waitlist! Add your email to the waitlist on the product page: Select your size, then the option to sign up should pop up. If/when we get it back in stock again, you'll be notified immediately! Sale items are discontinued and will not be restocked.

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days and are then shipped. We offer a variety of shipping methods to fit your delivery needs. For further shipping information please click here.

Once your order ships, you will receive email confirmation that will include your tracking number and link to track. Please contact us if you need further assistance.

We recommend applying Route 1-Click Protect at checkout! Route offers tracking services and shipment protection on your order if applied to cart, so that we can get any delivery issues resolved for you. For more information please click here.

For orders placed without Route, Slate Swim is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen packages during transit.

If you need to make any changes or cancelations to your order, please contact us immediately. Once orders are processed, we are unable to make any changes.

For international deliveries, customs duties and taxes may be applied by customs in the country of delivery. SLATE SWIM is not liable for any possible fees. The customer will be responsible for all duties and fees if applicable. Please contact your local customs office for further questions and information.

If you receive the wrong item or a damaged piece, please get in touch with us ASAP and we'll sort it out for you! Email us at info@slateswim.com with your Name, Order Number, and a description and photos of the issues.

Please be sure all items are returned in brand new condition, unworn with all original tags and liners attached within 14 days of your order shipment. Please try on your swimwear with undergarments. Any items returned with stains, fluids, snags, etc. will be sent back to you. All shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

We currently do not offer exchanges, however you can return your item for a store credit to place a new order for the desired item(s).
